Goals Of Our Project:

 

1. To create a demonstration/test unit for a mini-split heat pump that can simulate the climate of Northern Maine.

 

2. To be able to display the heat pump COP and heating cost as the temperature difference of the heat pump is changed.

 

3. To convey to the public that utilizing a heat pump with an alternative source of heat can save money over conventional oil heating.
